About Us

Who We Are. What We Do.

Our Mission

The mission of the Mindfulness in Law Society (MILS) is to educate, coordinate and promote activities in the legal profession relating to mindfulness meditation, yoga, and other contemplative practices.

What We Do

The Mindfulness in Law Society is the education and support hub for mindfulness in the legal profession, bringing together lawyers, law students, faculty, judges, and other legal professionals across the nation, and supporting their interests in mindful lawyering, yoga, and other contemplative practices. We offer and share programming, resources, and networking opportunities, including: virtual sitting sessions, Continuing Legal Education, national conferences, practice area divisions, and state and local chapters. We also offer centralized resources for those who seek to create or enhance a mindfulness practice or program for themselves, their law firms, legal communities, and law schools. We are a 501(c)(3) organization supported by memberships and donations.
