The mission of the Mindfulness in Law Society is to educate, provide resources to, and bring together the legal profession around mindfulness and well being. MILS members include judges, lawyers in private, non-profit and legal services organizations, law professors and students, law firm administrators, and others in the legal profession across the country.

The Tennessee Chapter of MILS will further MILS' mission by bringing together and providing resources and opportunities for learning and collaboration among those in our state. The chair is Adam Hill of Adam Hill Law in Nashville.

MILS will have a table at the Tennessee Bar Association Annual Meeting June 12-14 in Nashville. Stop by and meeting MILS President Richard Reuben, a law professor at the Missouri School of Law. Several MILS members will also be participating in the Better Right Now program on Thursday, June 13 from 2 p.m.– 5:30 p.m. It is a 3-hour CLE packed with strategies to create positive change in an unchanging environment, effective tools to manage burnout and stress in the legal profession; as well as mindfulness activities, exercises, chair yoga, wellness-centered door prizes and other activities to keep you moving and engaged.
