Adam Bukani

Hi, my name is Adam Bukani and I am a 2L at Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law. I am originally from Arizona and I studied at the University of Arizona (Bear Down!), but I am happy to be in Philadelphia spreading the mindfulness movement that I began in college. From college to the present, I have taken multiple courses in positive psychology and have kept up to date with modern methods increasing our well-being. My courses in positive psychology introduced me to the mindfulness movement. I now meditate daily and try my best to incorporate mindfulness into my daily activities. I am happy to be on the MILS Executive Committee where I can help other people join the movement.

Elaina Marino

National Student Chair, Syracuse

Elaina Marino is thrilled to be a part of the Mindfulness in the Law Student Division and serve as National Chairwoman. She has taken part in contemplative practice throughout her life, long before she understood the formal definition or started regular practice. She is the co-founder and President of the Mindfulness in the Law Society at Syracuse University College of Law, where she works to lead and provide weekly meditation sessions for students and introduce other mindfulness-based stress reduction practices. She is thankful for the help of her faculty advisor, Professor Aliza Milner, for introducing her to the Mindfulness in the Law Movement as well as her co-founder, Cynthia Moore. She is incredibly grateful to be given this opportunity to help foster the growth of new chapters and the organization as a whole.
